Accepting this agreement
During registration you select one checkbox accepting this agreement, including its data-processing terms. The document version and acceptance time are recorded. The product activity measurement described below is enabled and can be turned off in settings. An earlier opt-out is preserved when you accept a later version. Accepting this agreement alone does not authorize research into private-message text or sending text to an external translator. Daily-cookie browser visit measurement is also requested separately and is not enabled by this checkbox.
Accounts and access
Use an email address you control and verify access with the delivered code. Do not share codes, impersonate another person or create accounts to evade restrictions. Service and special accounts must be used within their assigned role.
Respectful communication
Threats, harassment, fraud, spam, unlawful material, unjustified disclosure of other people’s personal data, sexual exploitation and animal cruelty are prohibited. Do not use the service to organise unlawful activity.
Content and rights
Only publish material you have the right to use. Authors retain their rights and permit Petlar to display and technically process material for the selected features. This does not authorise selling private correspondence or using it for purposes that have not been agreed.
Walks and animals
Participants arrange meetings themselves and remain responsible for their dog’s behaviour, leash, required documents and local rules. A map marker does not confirm that dogs may enter a park. Check access and the animals’ needs in advance.
Moderation and appeals
Violations may lead to a warning, feature restriction, content hiding, temporary or permanent suspension or account deletion. Decisions and administrative actions are recorded. Use reporting tools for violations; appeal through the operator’s contact with an explanation of the situation.
Translation and information
Automatic translation can be wrong; the original remains available. Community messages do not replace veterinary, legal or emergency assistance. Contact the appropriate service in a dangerous situation.
Paid services
This version has no integrated payment for goods or subscriptions. Do not send card details or payment codes in chat. Users’ offers do not become Petlar’s commitments without a separate agreement.
Ending use
You may stop using Petlar and delete your account in settings or contact the operator. Remaining records and requests are handled under the data-processing terms in this agreement and applicable law. Please first address disputes to the operator; these rules do not restrict rights granted by law.
Information processed
Email address, sign-in verification, name and city, dog profiles and photos, posts, comments, messages, meetups, selected locations, reports, consent records and security logs. Do not provide passport, payment, medical or other people’s information without a proper basis.
Purposes and grounds
Data is used to operate accounts, communication and walks, provide selected features, maintain security, handle requests, improve the product and meet applicable obligations. Necessary processing is described in this agreement. Activity measurement, research into text content and external translation have different controls; declining optional processing does not disable core features.
Visibility and private messages
Your profile, published material and selected meeting point are visible to the audience shown in the interface. Private messages are not published in the feed and are available to participants. Authorised staff may receive necessary access for requests, safety and moderation where there is a proper basis; administrative actions are logged.
Product usage statistics
To improve Petlar, we count section visits and actions such as creating a pet profile, posts, reactions, comments, sending messages, walks and place suggestions. After acceptance of this version, events may be associated with an account identifier; reports show aggregate measures. Events do not contain private-message text, input-field contents, email addresses or precise coordinates. General visit counters without an account identifier help assess how sections work. You can turn off account activity measurement in settings without losing core features. This stops future collection of those events but does not alter existing aggregate reports. Individual account activity events are retained for 90 days and identifier-free daily aggregates for 400 days. Deleting an account removes its linked event records; aggregates without identifiers may remain. Turning this off also deletes event records linked to your account; the information needed to evidence your choice is kept separately.
Browser visits require a separate choice
Petlar may separately invite you to allow optional measurement of visits from this browser. Only after permission is a random cookie identifier created, expiring at the end of the current day in Tashkent time; the next day uses a new identifier. Daily hashes, visited-section information and whether sign-in was used are stored for up to 35 days. These records contain no original identifier, IP address, device fingerprint, message contents or link to a specific account, and are not sent to external counters. The measure represents browsers that allowed collection on a particular day, not people: different devices and deleting cookies affect the result. Days are not linked, so adding daily values does not produce a unique audience for a period. Declining does not restrict the service; identifier-free request counters may continue. You can change your choice through “Visit statistics”. Withdrawal removes the cookie and the current-day record, including its contribution to this counter. Earlier daily records are not linked to the current browser and expire under the retention limit; identifier-free summaries remain for up to 400 days. Browser GPC or DNT signals stop this measurement and clear the current identifier. This choice does not enable advertising or third-party counters. Your allow or decline choice is retained for up to 180 days in a separate cookie using the same shared values for everyone; it contains no unique browser number.
External counters require a separate choice
If the operator configures Yandex Metrika or Google Analytics, the site first offers a separate choice naming the enabled services. Accepting this agreement or enabling internal statistics does not start these counters. After permission, providers may process your network address, browser and device information, visits to public sections and non-identifying action names, including outside Uzbekistan. The site does not send them message text, form-field values, email addresses or precise coordinates; session and form recording are not enabled. Declining does not restrict core features. You can withdraw permission in settings to stop future loading of counters. Providers handle data already received under their applicable terms and retention periods. The operator checks the grounds for external transfer before enabling a provider.
Understanding user needs
Voluntary consent allows agreed text content to be used to research needs and improve Petlar. Refusal does not remove core functions. Period-based exports are restricted to separately authorised staff and recorded in an audit log. Removing a name does not guarantee anonymity of free text, which may mention other people.
Translation and external services
When translation is selected, text is sent to OpenAI for translation into the interface language. Mapbox receives browser network information and map requests; the email provider processes the address used to deliver codes. User consent does not replace the operator’s obligation to check contracts and a lawful cross-border transfer basis. External processing is enabled only after that check.
Storage location
The intended database arrangement is PS Cloud in Tashkent. The declared region is a deployment setting: the operator must confirm the actual database, replica, file and backup locations in its agreement. Email, map and translation processing may occur outside Uzbekistan and must be assessed separately.
Location permissions
The browser determines location only after a separate button press and permission. You can select a point manually. Share a meeting place rather than a home address. Status visibility expires after the selected period; continuous background tracking is not provided. You can withdraw device permission in your browser.
Retention and deletion
Information is kept while needed for its stated purpose and applicable grounds. The period above supports retention review and does not promise instant erasure of every backup. The operator sets category-specific periods, legal exceptions and backup deletion procedures. Translation cache has a limited lifetime; its cleanup is described in the technical guide.
Rights and requests
You can request information about processing, obtain your data, correct it, withdraw optional consent and request deletion where applicable. Account deletion is available in settings. Use the contact above; the operator may verify account ownership to protect correspondence. Other participants’ data are not disclosed arbitrarily.
Browser storage and security
Necessary session and request-protection cookies, language preferences and device settings are used. The application does not write message texts to localStorage. Do not share passwords or codes. The operator restricts staff access and logs actions; absolute protection against every incident is not promised.
Age and changes
The current service is intended for people aged 18 or older; registration has no separate age-confirmation checkbox. Agreement changes are published with a new version. Earlier acceptance is not treated as automatic consent to new processing purposes. Questions and complaints may be directed to the operator and the competent authority of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Withdrawal and evidence
Change optional choices in settings or by contacting the operator. Withdrawal stops future use on that basis; completed actions and legal obligations are assessed separately. The operator retains necessary evidence of consent and withdrawal without promising indefinite retention of all information.
